Award Winning Inside and Out

A triumph for Australian packaging innovation, our sustainable Roll 'n' Recycle pouch, has won the Diamond award at the prestigious Dow Packaging Innovation Awards.

This is the highest honour the Dow Awards bestows, and a huge achievement for this small Australian family business to win the overall prize from entries across the world, which included Colgate, Amazon, McDonalds and Kleenex.

Showcased with the very best of sustainable innovation around the world, our award-winning design ensures our packaging is 100% recyclable and given a second life, while saving approximately 2 million bags from landfill each year.

We are proud and honoured to add this award to our shelf which also includes the 2022 World Star Global Packaging Award for our Roll ‘N’ Recycle packaging innovation.

Each year the World Packaging Organisation World Star Awards recognises the best of the best in packaging innovations and excellence from across the globe.

Also alongside are our two gold awards from the 2021 Australasian Packaging Innovation & Design (PIDA) Awards.

We proudly received the Gold Award for both Food Packaging Design of the Year, and Labelling & Decoration Design of the Year.

The prestigious Packaging Innovation & Design Awards highlights the breadth and depth of innovation expertise in the Australasian packaging industry.

Brookfarm Awards for Roll 'N Recycle initiative

Having worked alongside OF Packaging for over two years, Brookfarm is the first business to launch a world-first kerbside recyclable soft plastic pouch.

This was achieved by two new innovations. One was moving the packaging from a complex 3-layer lamination (Recycle 7), to a sophisticated single layer polymer (Recycle 4), making the pouch easier to recycle for facilities. Read more about our road to recyclability HERE.

The second was the world-first innovation - Roll ‘N’ Recycle, which allows the empty muesli pouch to be rolled up and secured with the attached Roll 'N' Recycle sticker, changing the soft plastic to a rigid three-dimensional shape.

Brookfarm Roll 'N' Recycle goes straight in the recycling bin

Instead of having to collect the soft plastics and return to a third party, like REDCycle, consumers can now put the Roll ‘N’ Recycle pouch straight into their home kerbside recycling bin, making it easier to recycle for consumers, and allowing it to be sorted correctly through standard recycling collections.

Brookfarm launched the Roll ‘N’ Recycle initiative in 2021 with one of our bestsellers, the 1.5kg Toasted Macadamia Muesli with Cranberry, and we aim to roll this out across more Brookfarm products.

Just as important is what is on the inside, and that is our delicious Toasted Muesli Macadamia Cranberry.

Baked in our Byron Bay bakehouse with the rich crunchy texture of wholesome Australian oats and barley, delicious brans, natural currants and sultanas from the Barossa Valley and succulent antioxidant rich cranberries - we absolutely agree that it’s a winner.

And so does the Royal Hobart Fine Food Show, who awarded a Gold Medal for our Toasted Muesli Macadamia Cranberry in 2019. These Awards recognises the cream of the crop of Australia’s best produce.

Receiving these awards are proud milestones in our dedication to produce high quality real food, while making a difference in our community and the environment.

Try our award winning Toasted Macadamia Muesli with Cranberry, along with the new “Roll ‘N’ Recycle” pouch on the 1.5kg pack and help us make history by changing the recycling of household soft plastics – forever.
